POCOLA, OKLA. (October 2, 2020) – In late September, after nearly seven months of construction, the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma opened the doors to the relocated Choctaw Travel Plaza and Casino Too in Pocola, OK.
On September 30, Chief Gary Batton met with employees to celebrate the grand opening and recognized them for their ongoing hard work throughout the past couple of months working on the frontline.
“Businesses in Le Flore County, whether opening, expanding or revamping increase the economic viability of this community,” states Chief Gary Batton. “From employment opportunities to tax dollars generated, money is reinvested in Le Flore County’s growth and prosperity.”
The new 11,550 square-foot travel plaza is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week with drive-thru convenience. The facility also includes 12 covered fueling stations, an expanded deli and full-service kitchen that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Casino Too will increased 78 games for a total of 120 and it will operate as a non-smoking facility.
The new Choctaw Travel Plaza and Casino Too is located at 3380 Choctaw Road, Pocola OK 74902. The old Travel Plaza was converted into a parking lot to offer additional parking for guests at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola.
